Gelato starts out with a similar custard base as ice cream, but has a higher proportion of milk and a less of cream and eggs (or no eggs at all). It is slow churned, incorporating less air and leaving the gelato denser than ice cream.



What makes gelato so desirable is the sensation in the mouth, the pleasant melting – satisfying and enjoyable. Gelato remains silky but not heavy. It differs from ice cream in its ingredients, consistency and flavor, making it easily digestible.

Our gelato and sorbet bases are all natural and sweetened with pure cane sugar- NO high fructose corn syrup and all are gluten free. (Except when cookies were mixed in after gelato is made-cookie dough, oreo, biscotti, ect. We use: milk, skim dry milk, whey protein power, cream, natural stabilizers, cocoa, vanilla bean, roasted hazelnut, pistachio nuts, peanut butter, coffee beans, fruit, natural extracts and spices for flavor.
